The history of philosophy and political science department

The history of philosophy and political science department was opened in 2001 with the decision of Senate scientists of Khorog State University and the candidate of philosophical sciences, associate professor G.Garibshoev was appointed the head of the department. From 2005 till 2007 Shahmal Mamaddodov was responsible for being as the head of the department. On October in 2007 the senior trainer Mansurova Olamgul was appointed the head of the department. From 2009 the candidate of philosophy sciences , assistant professor Garibshoev till 2016 again was appointed the philosophy and political science department and from 2016 till 2019 the candidate of philosophy sciences, assistant professor Tavakalova M was responsible for this position.
From 2019 till 2022 this position has been led by the candidate of science, assistant professor Taurov Qurbonazar. From 2022 the candidate of philosophy sciences, assistant professor Nazarkhudoeva Lola was appointed the head of this department.
There are working 6 candidates of politic sciences, associate professor Komilbek Yorbek Amid, candidates of philosophy sciences , associate professors Garibshoev G. Q, Nazarkhudoeva L, Taurov Q, Tavakalova M.Q, Niyozbekov D, four senior trainers Marodbekova S. M, Khujanazarov J. G, Shoniyozova V. N, Aqdodova M, Dilovarshoev M, Mirzoazizov M, Lutfishoev A, Donayorova S, 13 assistants Mamadbekova K, Nazarkhudoeva F, Qosumshoeva Z, Gulamadshoeva M, Mamadsalimov N, Azizmamadova L, Zoolshoev S, Nazaramonov A, Yormamadov A, Qozinavruzov I, Mustajobova T, Sobirov G, Niyatbekov G and they are teaching philosophy sciences, the history of religion, politic science, logic, sociology, demography, culture science, ethics, aesthetics.
The scientific converses with post graduates, masters, doctorants PhD are very developed in the department and there is taken an entrance exam.
There were published many scientific , scientific- methodical articles by teachers and scientists.The department actively participates in political and social scientific events. The result of scientific investigation of teachers are led in conferences, seminars and scientific symposium. 7 scientific books, 6 monographs, more than 5 scientific text editions and more than 600 scientific articles were published by teachers and scientists.
Philosophy and politic science department has close relation with the Institute of philosophy, law and politics Academy science of Tajikistan republic, institute of human sciences Academy science of Tajikistan republic, Biological Institute of Pamir, philosophy and politic science faculties of Tajik national university and other scientific investigating countries.
