The Department of Mathematical Analysis was founded in 1992 on the basis of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The head of the department is candidate of physics and mathematics science Kholmamadova Sh.A.
At the moment, the department has 1 doctor of physics and mathematics, professor Yusufzoda Gulzorkhan Amirshah, 1 person – candidate of physics and mathematics science, professor Abdulofizov Shergozi, 2 – candidates of physics and mathematics, docents Mamadayozov N.M., and Kholmamadova. Sh.A., 1 person – candidate of physics and mathematics science Davlatbekov F.D., 2 – senior teachers Vafobekov D. and Asadbekova G.D., 5 assistants Shorahmatulloeva Z.M., Faizullobekova V.T., Dovutov F.M., Mirzonabotov R.M., and Fezakov M.K.
The Department of Mathematical Analysis is considered a specialized department for specialties 1-020501 – mathematics at the bachelor degree and 1-020501 – mathematics in the master degree, and 6D060100 – mathematical analysis in the PhD degree.
The teaching staff of the department conducts research work in the field of the theory of approximation of functions. According to the results of scientific work, the teachers of the department were published 6 textbooks, more than 14 guidelines, and 150 scientific articles.
The department has close relations with the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National University of Tajikistan, the Technological University of Tajikistan and others.
Over the years, the position of professor Imomnazarov B. started from1992 till 1996, Sh. Abdulofizov (1996-2002), H. Pirov (2002-2008), G.D. Asadbekova (2008-2009), N.M. Mamadayozov (2009 – 2012), Parvonaeva Z.A. (2012-2019), Davlatbekov F.D. (2019-2021). Currently, the position of head of the department is held by Candidate of Physics and Mathematics Science Kholmamadova Sh.A.
